PSA HomeGuard HG3000 240V Photoelectric Smoke Alarm, 9V Battery Backup (6 Pack)

Sold out. This product has been replaced by the PSA HomeGuard HG140AC 6 Pack.

This pack contains six PSA HomeGuard HG3000 smoke alarms, enough to cover the bedrooms, hallways and living areas of a typical house in one order, or to keep stock on hand for several replacement jobs. Each HG3000 runs from 240V mains and uses photoelectric sensing, with a 9V battery taking over when the power drops out.

The alarms can be used on their own or wired together, with up to 24 units interconnected so every alarm sounds when one detects smoke. Photoelectric sensing responds well to slow, smouldering fires and contains no radioactive material.

Key features

• 240V AC hard-wired supply with 9V DC battery backup
• Interconnect up to 24 units through a 3-pin terminal block

• One button for test and hush; hush silences the alarm for 10–15 minutes
• Insect screen on the sensing chamber and an anti-tamper design
• Green power LED and red alarm LED; low battery is signalled by a chirp every 40 seconds
