PSA Lifesaver LIF6800RL 240V Photoelectric Smoke Alarm, 10 Year Rechargeable Lithium Battery (6 Pack)

This pack contains six PSA Lifesaver LIF6800RL photoelectric smoke alarms. That is enough to fit out the bedrooms, hallways and living areas of a typical home in one job, or to stock the van for several changeovers. Each alarm runs on 240V AC mains and has a built-in rechargeable lithium backup battery rated for a 10-year life. The battery cannot be replaced, so there are no 9V cells to change over the life of the alarm.

The six units can be interconnected, and the system can grow to 24 alarms, so smoke detected in one room sounds every alarm in the home. To link the alarms without cable, fit the optional LIF6000WB wireless baseplate, with the LIF6000THL controller available as an add-on (both sold separately).

Installation notes

Each alarm connects to 240V AC 50Hz through 9V, Active, Switch, Neutral and Loop terminals, so a licensed electrician must install them. Each unit measures 130mm by 45mm deep. They are for indoor use between 0°C and 40°C, at up to 93% RH non-condensing.
