PSA Lifesaver LIF6800 240V Photoelectric Smoke Alarm, 9V Battery Backup (6 Pack)

This pack contains six PSA Lifesaver LIF6800 photoelectric smoke alarms, enough for a whole house or a run of small jobs from a single box. Each alarm runs on 240V AC with a 9V alkaline backup battery (Duracell, supplied), so it keeps working through a power outage. The LIF6800 is built for Australian conditions, with an anti-static chamber, a moisture-resistant design and reduced insect mesh, which together cut down on false alarms.

The alarms can be interconnected, hard-wired or through a wireless base, with up to 24 units in one system. The QUICK SLIDE base makes fitting faster across multiple ceilings.

• Photoelectric Advance Sensor that performs well in humid conditions
• Draws 10mA maximum, or 4mA on standby, from a 240V AC 50Hz supply
• 85dBA sounder at 3 metres using the ISO 8201 T3 pattern of three long beeps
• Hush silences the alarm for 9 minutes, but dense smoke overrides it. Low-battery beeping can be silenced for 8 hours.
• Alarm memory and chamber monitoring, which signals with a beep when the alarm needs maintenance
• Approvals: ActivFire, SAI Global, RCM and AS 3786:2014. 10-year manufacturer's warranty.

Installation notes

• The LIF6800 is a 240V hard-wired alarm and must be installed by a licensed electrician.
• Wiring terminals: 9V, Active, Switch, Neutral and Loop.
• Operating range is 0 to 40°C and up to 93% relative humidity (non-condensing).
• Each alarm measures 130mm in diameter and 45mm deep.
