PSA Lifesaver LIF10YPEW Wireless RF Photoelectric Smoke Alarm, 10 Year Lithium Battery

The PSA Lifesaver LIF10YPEW is a battery-powered photoelectric smoke alarm with a built-in RF wireless interlink. Its 10 year lithium battery is sealed inside and can't be replaced, so there are no yearly battery changes. Because it needs no mains supply or interconnect cable, it suits homes where running new wiring isn't practical, such as rentals, finished renovations and existing properties being brought up to current interconnection requirements.

The LIF10YPEW can work on its own or as part of a wireless network of up to 24 units. When any alarm in the network detects smoke, every other unit sounds as well.

Compatibility

The LIF10YPEW only interconnects with the PSA Lifesaver range. Compatible products include the LIF5800/2 and LIF5800RL/2 mains-powered alarms when fitted with the LIFWMB2 wireless base plate, as well as the LIFLT711.

Installation notes

• For indoor use. Surface mounts on the supplied bracket.
• Since January 2022, Queensland has required photoelectric, interconnected smoke alarms in properties being leased or sold. They must be in every bedroom, in hallways or areas between bedrooms and the rest of the home, and on every storey.
