PSA Centrii Wireless Garage/Shutter Reed

The PSA Centrii CENDWS302 is a wireless reed switch made for garage doors and roller shutters. It is an accessory for the Centrii CENWAST1 alarm system and gives you dedicated monitoring on large openings that a standard door or window sensor isn't built for.

The unit has two parts, a switch and a magnet. Once the alarm is armed, any separation of the two sends a signal to the panel and the system goes into alarm. Since it runs on battery and communicates by radio, there is no cable to run back to the panel, which suits detached garages and retrofit jobs.

Installation notes

Mount the magnet and the switch so their two silver metal contact faces are no more than 5mm apart when the door is shut. A wider gap may stop the sensor from registering reliably. For windows and standard doors, use the matching sensors from the CENWAST1 range rather than this unit.
