PSA Centrii Wireless Door/Window Reed

The PSA Centrii CENDWS303 is a wireless reed sensor for doors and windows. It works as an accessory to the CENWAST1 Wi-Fi alarm system. It has two parts: a detector that fixes to the frame and a magnet that fixes to the moving door or sash. Opening the door or window pulls the two apart, and if the system is armed the alarm goes off.

There's no cable to run back to the panel. That makes it a quick way to add more entry points to a CENWAST1 system in a house, unit or small office, including spots where running cable would be awkward.

Key features

• Magnetic reed contact that suits both doors and windows
• Talks to the CENWAST1 alarm system over 433MHz frequency-hopping (FHSS) radio
• Wireless range of up to 100m in open space (less through walls and other obstructions)
• Runs on a single 1.5V AA (LR6) battery, supplied, so it can be fitted straight away
• Slim detector of 24.5 x 96.5 x 19.5mm with a separate 14 x 48 x 11mm magnet
• White housing that blends in with most frames

Installation notes

• Fit the detector on the fixed frame and the magnet on the opening leaf so the two line up when closed.
• Pair the sensor to the CENWAST1 alarm system before it goes into service.
• Rated for -10°C to 55°C and below 80% humidity (non-condensing). Avoid spots where condensation forms.
• Battery life varies with use. Replace the AA cell when it runs low.
