Description
The PSA Centrii CENSLCAM is a 3MP solar-powered wireless camera for extending a Centrii Solar Wireless HomeBase system (CENSLCAMK). It suits homes and small businesses that want outdoor coverage in spots where running power or data cable is impractical.
Power comes from an internal 5200mAh battery topped up by a 3W solar panel on a 3m lead, so the camera does not need regular manual charging in normal conditions. Footage is stored on the HomeBase's 32GB storage, with optional cloud storage on subscription.
Key features
- 3MP (2048 x 1536) video at 15FPS with a 166° wide field of view
- Human and motion detection with event recording and alerts through the Centrii app on iOS and Android
- Night vision using IR plus LED light, with IR reaching 7m
- Built-in sound and light alarm for deterrence, plus two-way talk
- IP66 weatherproof housing for outdoor mounting
- Works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant
Installation notes
- This is an add-on only: a Centrii HomeBase is needed for it to work, and each HomeBase handles up to four cameras.
- Recommended mounting height is 2.5m to 3m; PIR detection reaches 10m.
- Connects over 2.4GHz WiFi, with a signal range of up to 240m in open space.
- Camera operates from -10°C to 55°C; the battery will only charge above 0°C. A USB Type-C port allows charging from a 5V adapter.
