PSA Centrii BoatSafe Boat Safety Bundle

The PSA Centrii BoatSafe bundle (CENBBBS) combines an indoor Wi-Fi camera with a low profile photoelectric smoke alarm, letting owners watch a cabin while ashore. Neither device needs a connection to the vessel's switchboard.

Footage streams in 2K to a phone via the free PSA Centrii app (iOS and Android). The alarm is compliant with AS 3786:2014 and runs for a decade on its own sealed lithium cell.

• Dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), so a marina network or mobile hotspot will do
• Person detection and tracking, low-glow night vision from eight 940nm infrared LEDs, and two-way audio out to about 6 metres
• Privacy mode closes off the lens entirely
• Photoelectric alarm with an 85dBA sounder at 3 metres, powered by a fixed 3VDC CR123A lithium cell rated for 10 years
• Alarm sits only 23mm below the lining, handy where headroom is tight

Installation notes

• The camera takes 5V through its USB Type-C port, for example from a shore-power adapter.
• The alarm surface mounts to a ceiling or bulkhead on a bracket that also switches it on and off.
• The camera is indoor only with no weatherproof rating. Keep it off the deck, out of open cockpits and away from spray.
• The alarm is rated 0 to 40°C and up to 93% RH (non-condensing). The cell is not user-replaceable; at end of life, swap out the complete alarm.
